Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl, add salt, sugar, melted butter and eggs. Gradually add the milk, slowly in order to limit the formation of lumps. Place in the refrigerator to rest for 1 hour.
In the meantime, chop Amarena Fabbri. Pour a small ladleful of the compound for waffles onto the plate, place the chopped Fabbri Amarena in the centre, then pour a little more of the compound over. Close the plate and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
Remove with a spatula and leave to cool.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and complete with Amarena Fabbri and its syrup.
