“Sbriciolona” with Amarene Fabbri


For the shortcrust pastry

500 g 00 flour 

200 g sugar 

250 g butter 

1 egg 

1 sachet baking 

Powder grated rind of 1 lemon 

Fro the filling

1 sachet of custard mix 

300 ml milk 

Fabbri Amarenas 


20 - 60 minutes

“Sbriciolona” with Amarene Fabbri


Mix the flour, sugar, egg, butter (cut into small pieces), baking powder and grated lemon rind together. Work the mixture quickly into a smooth ball of dough, and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Prepare the custard according to instructions, and leave to cool completely. After 2 – 3 hours, get the pastry out of the refrigerator and roll it out with a rolling pin.  Grease a springform cake tin and dust it with flour.  Cover the base with the shortcrust pastry and keep some pastry to one side for later.  Pour the custard over the pastry base and smooth it with a spoon.  Drop the Fabbri Amarenas carefully into the custard.  Crumble the remaining shortcrust pastry with your hands and cover the custard with it.  Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool completely and enjoy!!!!!
