French Toast with Amarenas

Ingredients

Slices of white bread (or “colomba” or “panettone”) 

2 eggs butter as required 

Milk as required 

Icing sugar

Less than 20 minutes

French Toast with Amarenas

Method

Dunk the slices of white bread (or “colomba” or “panettone”) in a bowl containing 2 beaten eggs and a few spoonfuls of milk. Then fry them in a pan with butter. Serve on a plate decorated with 1 amarena and dusted with icing sugar.
