A tasty treat


3 pears (firm and not too sweet) 

2 apples 

15 – 20 Fabbri Amarenas

2 spoonfuls of Fabbri amarena juice

1 handful of pine nut

2 or 3 spoonfuls of sugar (according to taste)

1 pinch of salt

80g breadcrumbs

40g butter puff pastry


20 - 60 minutes

A tasty treat


Peel and core the fruit and cut into little pieces. Add the amarenas, pine nuts, juice and sugar and leave the mixture in the bowl for 2 hours. You can also add some lemon juice if you wish. Melt the butter in a pan and pour into the mixture. Add the breadcrumbs and stir well. Pour the mixture into a loaf tin. Cover with puff pastry and press down the edges. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, leave to cool and then dust with icing sugar.
